About Me
Hey, I’m Grace Schnitzius! I am an actress based in New York City and originally am from Jacksonville, Florida. I have loved performing for as long as I can remember. My mom put me in dance classes when I was 2 and I would put on little talent shows all the time at home for my family. I loved acting, dancing, and singing with a deep passion. I told my mom that I wanted to be on TV but she didn’t know how to make it happen. I did my first commercial at age 7 through a family friend and after that I knew I never wanted to leave the entertainment industry. I knew that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I have always been an extremely driven person. Even at 3, if I wanted something badly enough, there was no stopping me (it drove my mom crazy at the time but she knew that this tenacity would be good for me in the long run). I play a diverse range of characters from a funny quirky kid on a disney show to a teenager going through it or dying from cancer to a girl that gets possessed or ends up in a cult (yes these are all actual roles I have played). I enjoy being challenged with different roles and always put my heart and soul into every character I play.
I won the Young Artist Academy Award (Youth Oscar) for Best Teen Actor in a Short Film, which I directed, wrote, produced, and starred in based on some of my own struggles in 2024.
I am currently a student at NYU Tisch and will be graduating with a BFA in Drama and minors in Psychology and Business Entertainment in 2027.
I would love to hear from y’all so please feel free to reach out!
